My battery died recently and charging didn't seem to help, so I did a soft reset and then a hot sync. Everything reappeared as far as I can tell except my memos. I don't know when these disappeared because I haven't been using the Palm much, so it's possible that they've been gone for awhile. Is there some way I can get them back? The only ones that are there are the ones that came with the software. I'm using Palm Desktop 4.0.1. (I know there's a newer version, but I don't know if it's compatible with the M515--or if that will solve this problem.)

I'm having a similar problem but with my contacts. I found a temporary fix but am looking for a lasting solution. Maybe this will help you.
"error addr20.dll module failed to load" followed by the same message for "todo" and then "memo" then I get another message:
"failed to open Contacts database. A new empty database was created and the original database file was renamed to
C:\Palm\John\address\address.017.datWhen I open the Palm Desktop software and click on the "Contacts" tab (you would need to go to the "Memo" tab) all of my contact info is gone. I then have to go to the top left "File" tab to "Open Archive" then enter the path abve(C:\Palm....)and open a previous archive to retrieve my data.
This stays until I close the program then the process repeats (17 times so far ergo: .017)...what can I do?
