Palm IIIxe to sync via IR to Win XP

I don't know how to setup my laptop so that it will hotsync with the PalmIIIxe using my infared port.

The easiest way is to download IRComm2k from http://www.ircomm2k.de/english/

This program sets up your IR Port so that it looks like a standard serial port. You can then sync using the IR Port by setting your Hotsync Manager to use a serial sync via the COM Port that this emulates.

For example, IRComm2k pretends that your IR Port is COM4. Set Hotsync to serial using COM4.

Works great,

I could not synchronise using IR but
after the installation of IRCommm2K it was working in 2 minutes.

I downloaded the program and got it set up, but how do you start the sync?
