Palm IIIxe not downloading apps from PC

Palm IIIxe w/ Palm OS 4.1 just quit downloadingapps from the internet. Data from PC syncs fine. When I go to install app the screen on PC shows the wrong dialog box to select from (my documents) and whenI select designated folder 'palm software' there are no downloads available, just empty folders. Yet when I open 'my documents' from PC desktop downloads are there. When I open one to install it dialog box appears stating the file 'already exists in Clarence Neault's download file'.
Summary: well you can download some applications that help change the IIIxe from 2 bit to 4(16 shades grey) as I have a program from mike mcollister called screen. :) the slot is only for a memory stick and ca...
