I have an XP machine that had Palm Desktop 4.14 already installed, but we needed to join it to our domain. Once you do that the only user that can see and use the Palm software is the user that origianlly installed it. So we found a work around to uninstall the software as the user that had it installed, login to the domain as the the new domain user account with admin rights and install it. After that Palm usually works fine. But today after the uninstall and reboot i went to install palm desktop that was originally on the cd which was older than 4.14(dont know ver) and it said there was already a newer verison installed. So then i went and tried to install Palm 1.3 or so and it installed but when i copied the user profile to the palmone foldr and opened palm it couldnt read any of the contacts, calendars, etc...(im guessing your product isnt backwards compatible) So then i uninstalled that and re booted and tried to install 4.14 and i get a message saying it needed an *.msi file to finish install. But it was a zip setup so everything should be contained in the setup file(i used the same file on my PC with no problems) So my question is how the heck do i get your palm software completely out of this system so i can install Palm 4.14 as if it were a fresh install. thanks, Rich
