I have problem with Palm (Vx) Pilot can't sync with Lotus Notes Calendar and Mail. It runs windows 95...anyone have any knowledge please let me know i will be appreciated.

I assume you are using the hotsync manager to sync the Palm to the dedsktop?
What software are you using to sync the Palm to Lotus Notes? At work we are using Intellisync with excellent results. It has no trouble syncing the calander, to do list, Notes inbox, etc.

Yeah, we use HotSync Manager to sync the calendar. But problems are that we can sync to other resources but couldn't sync to calendar. Can't remove HotSync & get IntelliSync because it's State Property PDA. but thankx for replied. (Sterling)

Hotsync only syncs the PDA to the desktop. You must use another program such as Intellisync to get to Lotus Notes.

I have the same problem. It appears that the first entries EasySync tries to sync are the repeating appointments. If one of the repeating appointments had the parent document deleted, the sync fails at that point.
To find out if the parent document was deleted, go to the Meetings view in the Notes mail file and look for an entry at the top of the list of the repeating appointments. There should be an entry that says:
Do Not Delete - Repeat parent for.....Solution
The solution is to delete these repeating appointments in the Notes mail file. Once they are deleted, the sync proceeds past this point.Check the error log it will show you the repeating appointment that need to be delete

What if you check the 'Meetings' view, but can't find the Parent meeting as described in the HotSync log?
I'm trying to bypass this issue, but for some reason the sych is failing.
The error is:
Notes C++ API Error: Document has been deleted
Notes Document:
Subject:
Date: 04/11/2002 08:00:00AM
Additional info:
Failed to get repeat parent
_____________________________________________The problem is there is nothing associated with this meeting, no where in the Calendar.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue.

Here's the description of this problem from the IBM Support. All I would add is look for replication/save conflicts in the view that they describe and delete them. It solved the problem for us
