I cannot open files on my P.D.A. (Jornada 520 series) The files contain books. When I first downloaded them from the internet (project Guthenburg) they opened, but now I receive the error message Pocket Word Error opening file. I have Windows 98 se and Word 2000 on my computer. I have pocket word on the P.D.A. which I bought in December 2001. I have tried deleting the files from the P.D.A and resynching but it doesn't work. In fact files that were partially copied (about 2/3s of the book)used to open on the P.D.A. but now nothing does. I have also tried to change the format of the books by opening them, choosing the save file as option and changing it to RTF.(They are originally Text documents) but it doesn't do anything. When I open these files on my computer it says that this file is too big for notepad and asks me if I would like to use Wordpad. I choose yes and it works. Any help would be greatly aprecialted. Thanks

Thanks for the infor Dagy(although I haven't worked out how to use the program yet). My monitor was out of action so that's why I didn't say it earlier. In the meantime somebody else gave me a good idea. Create a new word document, cut and paste form the text document to the new word document and save it as something. You now have a word document with the same information as the text file and my P.D.A. can read it. Just in case somebody else has the same problem.
