I dropped my PDA and now the charge light does not come on when I plug in the charger. The charger is working, I tested this with a multimeter showing 5V. I have pulled the PDA apart, the battery has its own circuit with five connections going to the mainboard, with or without the charger plugged in they read: RED 1, 3V RED 2, 3V YELLOW, 2.5V BLACK 1, 0V earth BLACK 2, 0V earth Could I just bypass the mainboard by soldering a cable from the charge plug to one of these five connection, and if so which one? AMD 2600 XP @ 2244MHz, ASUS 9600XT @ 565core/702ddr.

I doubt you will get an answer to such a specific question about a PDA... but hey i might be wrong... does the unit still charge even though the light is off?
