I dropped my PDA and now the charge light does not come on when I plug in the charger. The charger is working, I tested this with a multimeter showing 5V. I have pulled the PDA apart, the battery has its own circuit with five connections going to the mainboard, with or without the charger plugged in they read:
RED 1, 3V
RED 2, 3V
YELLOW, 2.5V
BLACK 1, 0V earth
BLACK 2, 0V earth
Could I just bypass the mainboard by soldering a cable from the charge plug to one of these five connection, and if so which one?AMD 2600 XP @ 2244MHz,
ASUS 9600XT @ 565core/702ddr.

I doubt you will get an answer to such a specific question about a PDA... but hey i might be wrong... does the unit still charge even though the light is off? Is there any obvious damage to any components leading to the battery from the charge plug socket?
