Hi Folks, I've always had good luck in the XP portion of this web site and I'm really hoping for that kind of luck in here. I need all the luck I can get. I just bought the Toshiba e335 Pocket PC. Now I need some real help getting my new Toshiba e335 Pocket PC to connect with my desktop. My desktop is a HP 521n with XP. My Visor connects just fine, but the Pocket PC won't. My desktop won't detect the Pocket PC. I've downloaded ActiveSync 3.6 and still no go. I find no downloads on the Toshiba site. I checked the USB in my Device Mgr on my desktop and it says everyting is working OK. I even attempted to set up the POcket PC on my Compaq w/ Win98SE and my Tosh Laptop with Win 98SE, to no avail. Please any help is appreciated. Thanks! Greg

Sounds like either the cradle or the cable could be defective. What does Toshiba say? I've had good luck with them with some problems with my e310.

i had the same problem. what you need to do is follow the directions as close as possible. start your pc with nothing attached, shut down, attach usb to port, start up, wait for everything to load, insert pda, install drivers, than everything should be able to sync propely. took me all night. good luck.
