There are only a few GPRS capable PDA's out there right now and they are all color. The Pocket PC versions seem to be dominant but there are a few Palm ones as well. If you need to be able to expand them as well, I would definately recommend the Pocket PC versions. Try Mobileplanet.com to see them. You can also try the cell phone companies as well since they are the ones providing the service. As for barcoding, you can get either CF or SD format scanners or even a pen based one that has Bluetooth.
