I need a recommendation on a smartphone. It will be on the alltel network and the primary uses will be web browsing (wifi), email, keeping to do lists, syncing calendars/appointments, and then maybe some viewing documents. I wont be using it as a phone at first because I dont want to pay the stupid data plan for alltel. The main two I am considering are treo 650 and 700wx. any insight you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Hey personally I like the Nokia N95, it is a nice mulit-functioned smartphone with 5-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, with integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, and an innovative two-way slider design. But they are very expenisve normally priced around $600. I think if you don't that super things you can just have a look at the Nokia N73, this phone is quite solid with 3.2 megapixel camera, up to 350 hrs stand by time, 246 mins talk time. up to 42MB internal dynamic memory great for contacts, text messages, multimedia messages. And I noticed that a recent deal on it is $260 , I think you can have a look at it.

There are some reviews for the Nokia N73, you can have a look at them:
