I have an e310 i bought in early 2003. Lately, it started to just turn itself on. Then it turns off because I set it to do that after 1 minute of being idle. Then later it turns on again. And so on. Is this just due to old battery? Or is it something worse. I contacted Toshiba 3 times but all I got is a standard reply saying they will attend to my problem soon. Please help, anybody! Thanks.

It could be a piece of software that you have recently installed "activating" your PDA. I had this problem after installing a program that, amongst other things, monitored battery life. Once i uninstalled it it was fine so whether that was just a big coincidence i dont know. Is it a random thing or is there a specific time interval between these events? Does it have built in Wi-fi and are you within range of a wireless network?
