Had anyone experienced problems playing music with Windows Media Player 8? I own an iPAQ 3870 and Media Player is driving me nuts. Sometimes, the song may play only half way and other times may not play at all. All the files are in the WMA format (default format) and retrieved from a 128MB SD card.

I experienced the same problems with the iPAQ 3670 using Windows Media Player 7 and retrieving all the files from the system memory.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

have you defragmented your SD card recently?

are the WMA files variable bitrate or normal?
