Hi I deleted the sis multimedia on my computer and was left with 16 colors when I used to have 32 bit plus the screen size is stuck at 640x480. I went to the sis website and downloaded the 530 version of the driver which was the one I uninstalled on accident. But when I tried to install it I couldn't. I picked the recommmended install process and at the very beginning a window popped up its title said "severe" and the message said cannot open file. If it helps the first files that were supposed to be installed were the SVGA files or something like that. The folks at the sis website seem to not want to reply to my e mails and it was a miracle I saw this old message that was similar to my problem so I thought I ought to try it I'd appreciate any advise there is to offer.
P.S. it came in a zip file if that helps.
file name is 530_108_win98
the website is http://download.sis.com
