Anyone know how to change a japanese os to english os on sony clie peg-nx70v ?? i heard of something like this "copy english os ROM and then flash it to yours" my gf got a english os, but how can i perform above steps? Really really appreciated of ur help

Here is a post I left for someone with a similar situation. Some of the Palms can with Language setting that where accessed when the unit was hard reset. As for the rest, you have to reflash the ROM. And for that you have three options. One, send it to Palm and for $100 they will flash it for you. Two, find someone with a Palm V in English and have them copy their ROM and send it to you to flash to yours. And third, join the PalmOS developer network (and be accepted) which gives you access to most Palm ROMs and download the one you need and flash it. There is a forth option but it's risky. You can look for an updated version of the Palm OS for Palm V (in english of course) and flash it to your Palm. It should replace the German OS with the English one. That is also probably the easiest of the four options since the updater will have a setup that you just run from your PC. Of course you don't have a Palm V but you would do the same thing. As for flashing a custom ROM you could use Chromed or ROMcrafter. If you use a Linux Command Prompt you could also try ROMEO.
