i have just purchased ipaq and want to download medical software. the sites offer two options for the ipaq, ce and pocket pc. can i use both? is one preferable/ the compueter is xp.the ipaq is 3850 version.

ce and pocket pc are both by Microsoft.

Since you have a very new model, the pocket pc version should do fine.

Other website may also mention StrongARM or just ARM processor. That is the version to use for the Ipaq.

Pocket PC is your choice.
As long as your iPaq synchronise fine with your windows XP, you shouldn't have any issues with your medical software.
