IPAQ & Notes Error

I have some users who are using an iPAQ (several versions) on a Windows XP machine with Lotus Notes 6.5.1 and Easy Sync Pro 4.2. When she does a 'sync' everything goes except email and she then gets an error message on the iPAQ screen stating 'error Exception line 9' Has anyone ever heard of this before? Any way to solve it?
