Hi,

I recently upgraded Active Sync to version 3.5, and installed the updated rom on my iPAQ 3630

Does anyone know how to access to the web through the modem on my PC, via the serial connection?

thank you very much
francesco

I use a 10/100 network card in my compact flash slot to access the Internet thru my netowrk.

The serial connection is for linking to a desktop to sync and share files. It is not configured to surf the Internet thru the serial connection.

Yet, there was a procedure working with the old ROM, based on some tools running on the desktop (ppp for serial connection, proxyi for USB)...

however, the procedures I have rely on the old way to create PC connection on the pds, which I've not been able to reproduce with the new ROM

thx for your answer, anyway
