iPAQ 3650 internet via cradle

I've read through all the posts I could find about connecting my iPAQ 3650 to the internet when it's sitting in my USB cradle, but to no avail.
My ActiveSync doesn't have a setting for 'Pass-through' under the Rules tab (ActiveSync v3.7.1). I get a "the page you are looking for cannot be found" message every time I look up a web page on my iPAQ. I've been at this for the past two days straight and I'm getting pretty frustrated to say the least.
Summary: I've had an Ipaq 3650 for about a year and use it almost everyday and than sync it, I've never had a problem syncing until the other day when I put it in the cradle I got a message that said something...
Summary: Hi ! I am with a great problem. It was bringing up to date PC 2000 for PC 2002 in my Ipaq 3650, when my computer stopped. My Ipaq, not leaves the screen more ... Upgrading the ROM image on your Ipaq.....
