Ipaq 3630 Screen Alignment problem

My IPaq 3630 won't go beyond the "allgn screen" ..screen, I have tried a hard reboot but no luck....I can't access any functions whilst this screen is on ....any ideas

If you turn it off then back on using the switch in the bottom, then there is nothing left to do but send it to Compaq for repair.

I have had this same problem, and i switched my Ipaq (3660), but the problem remains. The solution from compaq is to return it for repair. My alignment works if I switch the backlight off (by holding the powerbutton for a while) and the lines are not jagged anymore either. Also, if I connect it to external power, it works. It seems to be some kinda power problem or something... but try those tricks.
