I recently purchased Intellisync 4.0 for Palm Handhelds. Prior to installing Intellisync I installed Hotsync Manager 3.1.2H and was able to successfully sync between my desktop and my Handspring Visor deluxe. Calendar, ToDo List, Journal and Address Book synched successfully. I then installed Intellisync and was unable to successfully sync my Lotus Notes Calendar. I am running Lotus Notes V5. When attempting to sync my calendar, I receive the following error message "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - Runtime Error - c:\Program Files\Handspring\Hotsync.exe - abnormal program termination". I am able to sync my Lotus Notes Mail, ToDo List, Address Book and Journal.
I started from scratch by doing a hard reset of my Palm as well as reloading both Hotsync and Intellisync.

Hi!
Did you get any feedback or solution on that issue. I have the same problems!
Thanks for any answer!
Thomas

I've got the same problem also. I'm using the M106 Palm unit and the Vx units too. I've gone back to all my previous and new intelisync and palm softwares, and still get the error on syncing calendars. How do we get a response from Palm or Intellisync.

Anyone found a solution yet?
I have the same problem with synching The Calender and the To Do. Everything else syncs fine but on these two an error comes up saying Unable To Complete Request and puts an entry in the log saying Unknow Error.

Our office is looking for an upgrade for HotSync to support Lotus Notes R5 ... previously we were using Lotus CCMail and could synch with no problems...we would like to synch with our new mail service.
Any suggestions....email me, Thanks

I am using Intellisync (V3.7) under Win NT4
and the Hotsync Manager 4.0 without any
problem synchronizing Lotus Notes R5. Perhaps the problem is only for the lower
Hotsync versions ? Or does anyone have
problems with Intellisyn, Lotus Notes and
Hotsync 4 ?Greetinx, TSh
