Both a friend, Ann, and I have the Palm TE. We use Intellisync for Yahoo to sync directly between the Palm and Yahoo Addresses, Calendar and Notepad. We do not use intermediary software on the PC such as Palm Desktop or Microsoft Outlook. Mine continues to work OK. Ann's Palm had to be reset and all her data was lost. When she tried to sync the next time Intellisync for Yahoo asked her to confirm that it would delete all of her Addresses. Her canceled. The Intellisync for Yahoo indicates that she should have selected Resync on that dialog box but who would have guessed that. Now it does not seem to go to Intellisync for Yahoo at all. No matter what settings I change on her Windows XP PC Intellisync for Yahoo is not executing. I’ve read online that un-installing and re-installing Intellisync for Yahoo may not work. What the heck can be done? Intellisync for Yahoo is an OEM product supported by Yahoo. Intellisync for Yahoo seems to have not been changed for years and Yahoo support ignores written inquiries. I last wrote to Yahoo about it’s Intellisync on October 27, 2003 and I’m still waiting for a response. Maybe Google Mail will do a better job.

I have used the Yahoo Intellisync package for many months, but with intermittent glitches. This is one of those times for me, too: nothing from Yahoo updates (calendar, notes). Yahoo is singularly unhelpful; here is their "help": Intellisync is a free downloadable product that you can use to sync your Yahoo! Personal Information Management products such as Calendar, Notepad, and Address Book, to your handheld device. At this time, help for the Intellisync product can only be found online and it only supports the devices and programs currently listed. We do not support this product in any other fashion.
