received critical memory message, downloaded to large file, MP3. Followed directions by the numbers I believe and unable to delete MP3 file. Possibly holding my mouth wrong?

actually able to delete from playlist but folder remains and is taking up 25.8m of the 32m or avaiable

Okay, I see you have posted several emails about adding and removing files. I would recomend a 3rd party software for file management. Try going to Handango.com that will allow you to download a "explorer" type file browser like on your PC. Until then, I recommend connecting to your PC using activesync and then click on the "Explore" button on the activesync window. You will need to go up one level to be at the "root" or "c:" of the PDA and then to "My Documents" or wherever you put it and delete it from the PC that way. However, I would get a file manager for the Jornada anyway just to make life easier.
