HP PocketPC wont cut on

Have HP PocketPC 5550 (brother got it for me) and it's great. However last week, i went to cut it on, and NOTHING. ZIP. Have taken the battery pack out, nothing. Tried rebooting it, nothing. No screen activity, nothing. Any recommendations? It has not been dropped, stepped on, etc, etc....

My 1930 had a similar problem. I plug in the charger and still the amber light won't start blinking, until I pressed the reset button with my stylus. It seemed it was in limbo for a while... It is okay after that.
