Comment:

We have been trying for a month to find a driver to allow us to link the Symbol Cobra LS1902t-1000 handheld scanner to our HP Jornada 820 Handheld PC.

The Jornada is running Microsoft Windows CE Handheld PC Edition 3.0

Core System Version 2.11

Pocket Internet Explorer Version 3.0

Pocket Outlook Version 3.0

The Processor Type: StrongArm SA-1100

Memory: 15856 KB RAM

Expansion Slot: 32 MB

Symbol who make the scanner have suggested (through their USA partners) that if we can find an HID keyboard driver then the scanner should work. The plugging in of a mouse to the Jornada USB works but not the scanner.

Have been unable to find a HID Keyboard driver either.

HP helpdesk are unable to help as the all drivers as such are part of the ROM and the scanner is an external device, therefore providing a driver is outside their support.

Any assistance that you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. CCA
