How does Domian identify PDA?

Hi,

How does a particular NT domain identify that a particular PDA has entered its range, through a WLAN.

What i want to achieve is that my PDA has a WLAN card, and is constantly searching for a server which is on NT domain.

The pinging can be either from SERVER or the PDA client.
