Before I destroy all my data, I need to know if there are any problems hotsyncing my Palm IIIxe with both my desktop at work and my laptop at home. Can someone reassure me that this is OK?

Just remember that in HotSync operations the most RECENT data is retained and copied to the other unit. In other words, if the data in your PDA is more recent, it gets copied to the desktop. If the data is the desktop is more current, then it gets copied to the PDA. Once you have synced up with one desktop, both the PDA and that desktop will have the same current data. When you go to the other desktop and HotSync, it will get the data that's on the PDA unless the data on that desktop is more recent...in which case you will need to re-HotSync with the first DeskTop to get it's data current again. I know it can be a bit confusing...Which is why I hotsync as often as possible...then I know atleast my PDA itself has the most recent data and any Desktop I HotSync with will then have the most recent data.
