I have a Palm IIIx, i am having problems doing hot sync. The messege is: The connection between your hand held computer and the desktop could not be established. I have this problem with my Palm Zire(1 w/2MB), it seemed some things that use the same USB Port (such as my Camera) as your PDA, will cause you to need to reboot or Log-off too restore it, Its wierd...I think its cuz the other device will end up "Monitering" the USB Port unnecisarily.
