I've been hotsyncing my Palm M515 with my clamshell ibook for a couple of years with no problems. The other day I unplugged the cradle (which I've done many times) and plugged it back in and now I get the error message "The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again." Tried to follow the instructions on palm.com, but my palm desktop doesn't have the same menu items they list. I've replugged in everything, and even bought another cradle, and yet still have the same problem.
