I am trying to Hotsync my Sony Clie NR70/U to my computer which has Windows ME and keep getting the message “Unable to initiate Hotsync operation because the port is in use by another application” I have cleared out all that I want to download, but it still won't work. When I first loaded in the software and tried to Hotsync, they system told me that it can't find the driver for the Clie NR70/u. I tried to search the Software that came with the unit, but it doesn't find any drivers. When I do a search on my desktop for the driver, it pulls up a MS SCSI driver for palm, but won't attach it. Like it really didn't find the driver. I have tried to move that file directly form the CD over to my harddrive, but it still doesn't recognize it. I have tried to uninstall my palm software and reinstall it, but it still won't hotsync. I have only had this CLIE for 3 weeks. When I first downloaded it, there was no problem and it would hotsync. But then it just stopped. I originally went to PalmOne.com and got the palm software, until I got the actual software for this CLIE on Ebay. After I downloaded the new software, it wouldn't hotsync any more. Does anyone have any idea of how I can pull up the driver to get it to hotsync??
