i recently converted my ipaq h3900 to run linux instead, i am a big fan of linux and when i was told it was avail for pda i had to have it, i saved an image of windows ce for restore but it was corrupt by the time i looked at it again, and linux to be fair isnt all that good on the pda i can no longer use any bluetooth function, infared is crap and hardly works, and worst of all it is now just an unknown usb device to my pc. with constant crashes and a really anoying buzz sound from the speaker due to poor sound drivers (i guess). if anyone has an ipaq please please would you give me an image of your os (i will tell u how to do it if u dont know) i am left with a brick with tux on it. p.s. i have tried 2 different linux distributions now and lets just say they are a long way off gettin it right for the pda.

Oh - Big Problems.
Never play with the EPROM unless you know what you are doing, as you can turn your device in to a brick.
The image is specific to your device - so don't try to load a similar model number image - THEY ARE DIFFERENT.
Search on the Internet and even contact HP. If you are still stuck, let me know and we may have an image you can blow back - if you have not damaged the Boot Loader. If the Boot Loader is damaged - then you have got a nice new paperweight.
