I have had heaps of trouble getting anything from Sony so I can get my sony clie peg-nx70v/g to talk to winxp. winxp sees the pda but doesn't have a driver or anything. Typical!!!! Anyway when I contacted sony via email they said to ring so I did and they first told me to get Sonic Stage 4.3. This is just some program to buy music from the net and then transfer it to the pda but it doesn't as there is no driver. I emailed them again and they send me some stupid form to pay $65 or something like that to get a disk or disks? No details at all. I am not going to pay some outrageous cost like that and they don't tell me what it is. Anytime you need drivers for devices...alll sites offer them for free. Anyway I emailed again and they tell me to ring them. I do not understand why their site doesn't have a driver? I looked and looked and all they have is updates for different applications on the pda but no original install files. I am able to connect the pda to my laptop that has linux but so far have only been able to transfer one photo and can't find where to put music on the pda. I mean what directory/folder. Hope someone knows about these devices as I do not. I can't even find a manual on the Clie site either.
