Is there a market for broken Handsprings or should I just toss it? It was dropped and the screen cracked and somewhat shattered and it doesn't turn on. I don't know if it is because the screen doesn't work or if there is something wrong with it. It does have a nice wallet case.

I seriously doubt anyone would want to buy it unless they were really desperate for spare parts. The screen would be one of the most difficult things to replace. Is it still under warranty? Even if it isn't it is probably worth contacting the manufacturer to see if they can help.
