getting unknown errors and mapi problem

Can't synch the calendar, give me a series of unknown and communication errors, reinstalled outlook and now i get a mapi error.
visor prism, outlook xp, win2k. anyone know how to help?

To resolve this behavior, install Windows Messaging, and then import the Windows Messaging personal address book into Outlook Express. To do so, follow these steps:

Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type the following line

:\tools\oldwin95\message\us\wms.exe

where is the drive letter of the CD-ROM drive containing your Windows 98 CD-ROM.
