game editor, EVB, and 2002

Three things. One, When I try to download and run a game editor game (I'm experimenting with the trial) to my ppc, it says something (I think illegal process) and freezes my PPC. It might be the trial or something, but I don't know.

Two, When I connect EVB to my PPC, it says Device.exe (I think) has performed an illegal operation, and won't connect. And when I copy it old-fashioned way, it says it can't find the file when I try to run it.

Three, My PPC clearly says it's a PPC2002 when I hard reset (it's a toshiba e740), but it won't run some applications that say are meant for ppc2002. Please help.
