fatal alert on my clie peg-t665c

"Fatal Alert" box popped up during a hot sync. Message reads "Fatal Alert: DateDB.c, Line: 2537, An earlier alarm was found in skipped records". I've tried both a hard and soft restart, but after restarting it just returns to this same message box. Any advice would be wonderful. Feel free to email me at ktoyama@ucla.edu. Thanks!
