I would like to know if a iMATE POCKETPC PHONE would recognise a USB type plugin interface from a dictaphone. (http://www.imate.com/DETAILS_PDA2KEVDO.htm)
Objective as follows:
1. Use a digital dictaphone to record a digital voice recording. 2. Transfer the dictaphone voice recording file into the PDA using some kind of interface. 3. Email the file.
Draft stategy as follows: 1. Need to use the disctaphone as the file will be small in size, as it is low quality and not MP3. PDA sound recording is too big too email using the PDA phone. 2.The dictaphone has a USB interface that plugs into a PC. Wondering if this can somehow JACK into the PDA, and have the PDA able to recognise the dictaphone so the transfer of files can be initiated. 3. Considering to buy a double female USB adapter, to plug the dictaphone USB jack into the PDA USB sync cord and plug in using that.
