Connecting IPAQ 3970 to the Interne

I have my Compaq IPAQ 3970 connected via USB to my PC which has access to the Internet.
I cannot get the Ipaq to connect.
What settings do I need?

You need to make sure that activesync on both the pda and pc are set to "my network card connects to the internet" Those are the only settings you should need to chgange in order to access the internet.
