I am trying to connect WinXP desktop to Pocket PC PDA with crossover ethernet cable. I set my WinXP to be Webserver and host a page of html with a MPEG video file as hyperlink. I am trying to play the MPEG video from the Media Player in the PDA. I am able to play this MPEG video (from the PDA) if both my destop and PDA are connected to a router. But, I am unable to do the same through crossover ethernet cable. I think of if I setup my winXp as router, may be it could solve the problem. A few questions to understand further on your suggestion for eailer message: 1. How to set LAT. 2. Should I use crossover cable or straight-thru cable?
