I just bought a 128MB Compact Flash card and have loaded some music and a video clip on it. My Cassiopeia E-125 shows the card in in and the files are there, but the media player will not see the files. What do I need to do?

I have a Cassiopeia too. This always happens with most CE systems.

Now, you can:

a) Just try to open your files through your file explorer and learn to live with it.

b) Download the newest CE media player from the microsoft page PDA/CE section (version 8 I think) its free.

If you do this first uninstall ALL teh files from your default media player (they take some memory space and you dont need 2).

and THEN install the new one.

c) NOTE!

Goddamned Microsoft is NOT the only company who makes media pleyers for CE systems.
You can find many others that might fit your needs, even some free ones!
(try cnet.com for some ideas)

d) last, check the cd's that came with your machine.
There is a video player from casio in there
-that you MUST install if you want to play .avi's and .mpeg's but first convert them in your computer to the casio video player format (coverter in cd too)- and a lot of other stuff , even some promo mp3's.

make sure your music/video files are in a "My documents" folder on your CF card, media player looks for this folder on cf/sd cards. hope that helps a little
