I can't get my Sony Clie PEG-SL10 mail to sync with Netscape 7.1. It works fine with Netscape 4.8. After 1.5 hours with Sony support, I learned that they couldn't get it to work either -- they said I had to contact Netscape. I set the option "Use Netscape Mail as default Mail application." But it doesn't help. And I can't afford to get Netscape support at this time. Any ideas of what might be wrong?

I found my answers and thought I'd share them, in case anyone ever wants to know. It turns out that Netscape 7 is based on Mozilla, and Mozilla has not implemented all of the functionality needed to support syncing Mail with a Palm device. In the meantime, there is a workaround that uses Netscape 4.x (4.5 or greater) that you can find at http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/ns71pdasync.html It allows you to do Palm Mail syncing via Netscape 4.x, while still being able to use Netscape 7.1 for the rest of your email activities.
