Comment:
I have recorded movies from the CLIE PEG-NX70V. I could transfer the movie to my PC but the format of the movie cannot be played. I transfered the movie file by dragging it to desktop. I tried to transfer the file using the software that comes with the CLIE but it does not work. Does anyone has a solution?

The movies for the NX70V are recorded in MPEG-4 format which most players can't access at the mo. Quicktime 6 is one of the few that's compatible. In addition to this Sony gave their movie files some odd extension, it's MQV or something like that. Anyway, Quicktime will think it can't read them so you'll have to add the extension to the Quicktime's list of files to open. Finally make sure that when you copy the files over you, get them from the MQ_ROOT -> 100MQV01 directory there is another place on the disk where you'll see the file names, but these are just shortcuts so ignore them. Hope that's been some help.
