I have a new laptop with windows xp,sp2 and have lost the cd for the desktop for my clie TJ-27. I have downloaded a desktop (4.1.2) for palm and installed it without a problem, however, I cannot get the clie to hotsync, it is unable to get a conneciton.

you cant download palmdesktop software because it is model specific.well ok you can download it but it is not advisable.sony doesnt have any downloadable palmdesktop because it might conflict with your system thats why you cant find it in their website,you can purchase the exact palmdesktop software in sony parts.just call 1-800-488-7669 and tell them your model no.#. and as for you mister t415 you have to purchase palmdesktop 4.0.1(for pc).
