BlackBerry Message Delivery Status

One of our clients is not able to pull messages from Outlook onto his BlackBerry. He is just using the desktop redirector, the e-mail is POP3 and the BlackBerry pulls e-mails from the mail server. Oddly enough, the address book and the calendar pull just fine from Outlook. When I click the "Message Delivery Status" button buried somewhere in the options, I get a pop-up saying "Unknown Error". Both the BlackBerry and the Desktop Software have the same PIN. I'm not sure what's going on at this point.
