Just bought myself a Handspring Treo 180g. I have read that it is prudent to have some sort of antivirus application residing in the handheld just in case I either beamed or installed a Palm infected application.

I do scan all the PRC files that I installed onto my Treo 180g - but this in on the desktop level. Is this safe enough? I also installed the freeware version of BitDefender for Palm onto my Treo 180g. But I don't see any update file available at BitDefender (I am used to updating my desktop AV application on a daily basis so naturally the unavailability of such an update for BitDefender piques my curiousity).

Is there any freeware Palm-based AV with regular updates out there? I am not much of a power user; just using my Treo 180g as a handphone and keep tab of my tasks and kill time with the games I downloaded.

Thanks in advance.
