ActiveSync - sync status

My iPAQ 3850 is synced to the PC via ActiveSync 3.7.

When I connect the PDA, for some categories such as Contacts, Tasks and Calendar, (essentially the most important for me) ActiveSync says "Sync status is on the device" and does not allow me to synchronize them.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall ActiveSync - no result.

Any ideas?

I kept fooling around with this problem and finally solved it this way: On my Pocket PC>Programs>Active Sync>Tools>Options. Then on bottom switch to "Server" tab. In the "Sync these items" window uncheck the categories that are giving you trouble. It might take more than one time but keep at it.
I don't know all the technical terms but I hope you can understand my explanation.
