I have an ipaq 4350, which I love.

Having a sync problem with my Contacts, though, that has to do with assigning categories to a given contact.

For the most part, it syncs with my desktop fine, EXCEPT that it does not consistently sync categoris that are assigned to a contact. If I assign a category to a contact in my ipaq, it will always sync properly with my desktop, and the category will then be linked with that contact on my desktop. BUT, the other way round does not always work: if I assign a category to a contact on my desktop, the ipaq does not always recognize it. It doesn't show up on my ipaq. Any other changes made to that contact will show up, but not always the category.

Weird thing is, sometimes it DOES work. Just not consistent. With the first few categories I made up, no problem. But the last bunch (I have quite a few categories) don't work properly.

Is this a software glitch? A memory problem (I do have 12 MB available both to storage and program)? Is there a limit with the number of categories it can handle? Any ideas?

TB
