Activesync Add/Remove

I am having trouble with add/remove on activesync 3.8. When i try to install or remove any software the add/remove feature flashes up on the screen then dissapears. The computer the then says that the install is complete. I have tried hard reset on ipaq and i have re installed activesync but nothing has helped.

make sure that C:\Program Files\Microsoft ActiveSync\CEAPPMGR.exe is allowed past your firewall. That is the program that installs and removes programs for activesync.

Allowed CEAppMgr.exe to pass thru firewall, don't forget to 'allow full access.' This was the cure for me. I can now access my add/remove programs in Activesync.
