I have a user having an issue with her recently deployed iPaq H3870. Today it is giving her an "Unresolved Item" conflict from her Inbox. However, there is no information given about WHAT is unresolved, and clicking "Resolve item" does nothing. Her Inbox on Outlook and on the iPaq match up number of items and unread messages. What else should I be looking for?

She has a Compaq Armada E500 + port replicator, running Windows 2000 SP2. The iPaq is an H3870 (v.2.20 for Compaq "BIOS" I guess), connected via USB port. ActiveSync is version 3.5. Using Outlook 2000.

Thanks.

I've got just the same problem! Getting error messages when synchronzing the inbox. Seems like it's giving problems when there are mails with attachments, saying unresolved items.

I am having Inbox and Notes sync problems on both 2000 and xp using ActiveSync 3.5. I can sync with a PST no problem but with an online server store, no luck.
My old jornada works fine, but the new IPAQ doesn't sync. I called and opened a ticket with HP/CPQ and was told that it was not 'Designed' to sync except with an offline (pst) store. To sync to online store they recommend I configure IMAP4. Working on the settings, because it doesn't work so far, although again my 3+ year old Jornada has no problems. Any suggestions?
