I recently purchased a PEG-T415 Sony Clie'. When I try to beam something to another PDA, after I select the thing to be beamed, I click BEAM, but it just beeps and does not bring up the Beam "searching" box. I know the Infared works cause I can use Remote Commander to change TV channels.
I also tried beaming something to it from a Palm M125, but the 125 said no receiving computer. Anyone know the problem. thanks

I know this may sound elementary, but are you sure you did not have your finger or something obstructing the the IR beam? Occasionally, the wrong direction or distance can be a factor. You could also download some IR beam software from Palmgear or other site.

I Sell them at a store In lower Man. New York.....I have had to open 8 Boxe's B4 I found one that worked right....It has to be a Bug that sony Must take care of

I too was almost pissed, but the reset button fixed her right up. For a second, I thought I had figured why I had got such a good deal on a brand new t415 on Ebay.
