Hi all,
I dont mean to sound thick, But can someone please explain to me what 0s/2 is or direct me to a site that can.
If it is an operating system, what are the benefits? Can it be installed onto a normal pc?
I would like to learn more about this.

Thanks

Stew

OS/2 is a operating system based on the intel architecture. The producer from this system is IBM. The official web page is www.software.ibm.com/os/warp. It exist for this operating system office software, web browsers, utilities and so on.
OS/2 has a workplace shell similar Windows 2000. The newest OS/2 version has the name Convenience Package (version 4.52). You can start with this OS/2 applications, DOS applications, Windows 3.x applications and Java applications. If you install the odin-api you can also use Win32 applications (but not all).
